Blairs Settlement or Centreville was once home for a number of Blair families. Their prosperous dairy farms supplied the milk for the Centreville Factory, one of the many cheddar cheese factories that once dotted Rideau Lakes Township. Through the week, Blair or Centreville School provided education for the local children and Zion Church was the site of Sunday congregation in the late 1800s.
