Rideau Lakes is the only municipality in the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville to offer this service as all other municipalities rely upon the District Health Unit. The Township has committed to providing an efficient and timely service by having its own inspectors. In addition to Septic Permits, the Septic Inspector also reviews development applications such as severances, site plans, and minor variances for compliance with Part 8 of the OBC.
