Civic addressing is administered by the Chief Building Official. An application is necessary for a new civic address to be issued.
The Township is currently working with the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville to develop a better addressing system that provides consistency of numbering not only across the Township of Rideau Lakes but the County as well. This will ensure that Municipal, County, and Provincial emergency services are able to properly find and locate properties in our Township.
